WARRANTY
If you, the customer, do not agree to the terms and conditions of this limited warranty, you may return the unused products in their original packaging to Granted Diesel Inc, as per the guidelines specified in our return policy.
What Does This Limited Warranty Cover?
This limited warranty (referred to as the “Limited Warranty”) provides coverage for any defects in manufacturing and/or materials found in injector products (collectively known as the “Product” or “Products”) purchased directly from Granted Diesel Inc.
What Does This Limited Warranty Not Cover?
This Limited Warranty does not extend to damages caused by contaminated fuel, improper installation, or any external factors or third parties. Any disassembly or tampering with the Products will render this Limited Warranty void.
What is the Duration of the Limited Warranty Coverage?
Starting in 2024, all new and remanufactured injectors, pumps, and turbos, along with all other products, are covered by a one (1) year limited warranty from the original invoice date (referred to as the “Limited Warranty Period”). This Limited Warranty is non-transferable and only applies to the original purchaser of the Products.
How Will Granted Diesel Inc Address the Problem?
In the event that any Product fails to function as intended (excluding damages caused by external factors, improper installation, or misapplication) within the Limited Warranty Period, as determined by our testing, Granted Diesel Inc will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective or malfunctioning component of the Product free of charge. To initiate the warranty claim process, you will be required to send the Products back to Granted Diesel Inc at your own expense during the Limited Warranty Period for testing and consideration. If our testing confirms that the Product does not exhibit any manufacturing defects within the specified manufacturer’s standards, you will be charged a fee for cleaning/testing, and the Product(s) will be returned to you at your expense. The cleaning and testing fee for non-warrantable parts amounts to $45 per injector or $400 per high-pressure pump.
What Will Granted Diesel Inc Not Do?
Please note that no refunds, exchanges, or returns will be provided for Products sent to Granted Diesel Inc under a warranty claim. We do not accept refunds, exchanges, or returns for Products that have already been installed. Granted Diesel Inc holds no responsibility for improper installation, incorrect Product selection, or misapplication of the Products. It is your responsibility to ensure that the Products are installed correctly by your chosen installer. If uncertain, we recommend contacting the specific Product manufacturer before proceeding with the installation. Under no circumstances will Granted Diesel Inc be liable for any expenses incurred by you in relation to the Products, including but not limited to labor or installation charges, downtime, towing, travel, lodging, or any other contingent expenses associated with the diagnosis of claimed defects (such as third-party testing), removal or reinstallation of the Product, or any other related expenses.
How to Obtain Service?
Prior approval from Granted Diesel Inc is required for all warranty claims. To initiate a warranty service, please send an email to rma@granteddiesel.com. We will provide you with a Warranty Claim Request Form that must be completed and returned before initiating any warranty claim. Once we receive the completed Warranty Claim Request Form, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (“RMA”) number and provide you with detailed instructions on how to send the Products to us for evaluation. Please note that we do not accept Products without a completed Warranty Claim Request Form and RMA. You are responsible for all shipping costs associated with returning the Products to us. Depending on the results of our testing, you may be required to cover the shipping costs for us to return the Products to you. Granted Diesel Inc shall not be held responsible for any damages incurred during shipping.
Please be aware that we do not store the Products you voluntarily send to us for testing indefinitely. It is the responsibility of the original purchaser to stay in communication with us regarding the testing results and to settle any testing fees owed for the Products. We will retain the Products for a period of ninety (90) calendar days from the date of receipt (referred to as the “Holding Period”). During this time, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you using the phone number and email address provided at the time of purchase and/or when the RMA was issued to communicate the testing results and any applicable fees. If we do not receive a response from you and/or any outstanding fees remain unpaid at the end of the Holding Period, we will consider all the Products you sent to us as intentionally abandoned by you (referred to as the “Abandoned Property”), and we reserve the right to dispose of, use, reuse, and/or resell the Abandoned Property at our sole discretion.
Limitations of this Limited Warranty
The Products are provided on an “AS IS” basis, with all faults, and without any warranty except for the Limited Warranty specified above. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Granted Diesel Inc does not guarantee that the Products are of merchantable quality or suitable for any particular purpose. These warranties are considered implied warranties. Some states may not allow limitations on the duration of implied warranties, so the above limitation may not apply to you. If your state does not permit limitations on implied warranties, the implied warranties will be limited to the duration of the Limited Warranty Period mentioned above.
This Limited Warranty states your exclusive remedies for the covered Products. Any attempt to alter, modify, or amend this Limited Warranty will not be permitted. Under no circumstances shall Granted Diesel Inc, its directors, shareholders, officers, agents, employees, contractors, successors, or assigns be liable for any injuries or damages, whether consequential, incidental, special, exemplary, or punitive, arising from the installation or use of the Products. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Granted Diesel Inc’s liability in all events is limited to and shall not exceed the purchase price paid for any Product that gives rise to liability. Some states may not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
What is the Relationship Between State Law and this Limited Warranty?
This Limited Warranty grants you specific legal rights, and there may be additional rights available to you that vary depending on your state of residence. By accepting the terms of this Limited Warranty, you, as the customer, agree that any litigation, legal action, or other proceedings related to this Limited Warranty shall exclusively take place in the federal or state courts located in Queens, New York. As the customer, you hereby (i) consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts, (ii) acknowledge that these courts shall have sole jurisdiction over any matters arising from or related to this Limited Warranty, (iii) agree to accept service of process by registered or certified mail, or by any equivalent means permitted by such courts, directed to your last known address as determined by Granted Diesel Inc., and (iv) waive any claims asserting that any of the mentioned courts are an inconvenient forum.
